The Future Monaco-Fontvieille

Discover the future of Monaco-Fontvieille, the district of Fontvieille is an extraordinary achievement of engineering and construction. This unusual urban project ended in 1973 and allowed the Principality of Monaco to gain 22 hectares of land on the sea.
A “COMPLETE” NEIGHBORHOOD
Fontvieille is home to luxury homes, accommodations reserved for Monegasques and most industries of the Principality. But this district also contains the Animal Garden, the Stamps and Coins Museum, the Naval Museum and the Exhibition of the collection of Cars of S.A.S the Sovereign Prince of Monaco.
In addition to homes, industries and museums, the area also houses a Church, Restaurants, a Crèche, a Heliport, a Shopping Center, a Marina, the large marquee of Fontvieille and finally the imposing Stade Louis II.
Between the sea and the Exotic Garden, Fontvieille is a «complete» district offering everything you need to live in a place both calm and dynamic.
A RESTRUCTURING PROJECT
Since 2020 a huge project of restructuring of the district of Fontvieille is under development, in addition it is a project that puts ecology in priority as well as the respect of the site at the foot of the Rock and the Princely Palace.
The restructuring will allow Fontvielle to host new assets such as a park of 2000 trees on an area of 2 hectares, a Cinema Multiplex at the cutting edge of technology, a new Shopping Centre and finally the construction of a new building that will double the capacity of houses.
The initial cost of this construction-reconstruction is estimated at around 300 million euros. To realize this huge project, the relocation of entities, administrative services and other tenants are planned. Their transfer is scheduled within the Pasteur Islet from the second half of 2024. Completion at the end of 2026, beginning of 2029.
A NEW MALL
The current shopping centre will see its commercial area double to about 30,000 m², with 80 commercial premises and a new parking capacity. This new shopping centre will offer new exclusive international brands not found in France or Italy. Modern and offering impeccable quality, the new centre will offer exclusive and modern services.
It is a new emblematic place of the Riviera that will be built on the Monegasque square, pleasant where you will want to walk, go shopping where simply enjoy and relax.
